Senior Director, Account Management

The Senior Director of Account Management is ultimately responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing Forward Health Group’s (FHG) client relationships and ensuring the highest level of professional service is consistently delivered to all clients. This position spearheads account management strategy, plays a crucial role in driving overall client satisfaction and is integral to fostering cross-departmental collaboration driving the success of our business.

  • Bachelors degree in a related field required
  • 7-10 years relevant experience in health IT account management with required 3-5 years of those at a supervisory level
  • Knowledge of health care delivery, industry and technologies
  • Project and program management skills and expertise to organize and direct a project or portfolio of projects to completion
  • Passion for providing excellent client service and inspiring others to do the same
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytic/problem-solving skills, including accepting challenging situations and creating and implementing high-value solution(s)
  • Ability to gain trust and loyalty of the client, retain the account, and develop strategic relationships with clients, consultants, and other related partners
  • Capabilities to deliver and manage to Strategic Client Service Plan and client-specific account management plans
  • Ability to lead and influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions

Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for successfully coordinating with the Project Management Office (PMO) during the implementation process for new clients using FHG’s products and for providing outstanding ongoing customer service and support thereafter. The Account Manager fosters sustained use of FHG’s products and serves as the liaison between client sites and FHG, including business, clinical, and technical resources. The Account Manager understands client’s needs and takes a consultative approach to identify and propose additional FHG solutions/services to address these opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading/participating in client contracting and general onboarding activities;

2. Identifying and converting new business opportunities within existing accounts;

3. Collaborating with client service teams as necessary during implementations, data refreshes, and other project-based opportunities as they arise;

4. Facilitating long-term customer retention;

5. Managing client relationships;

6. Providing customer-focused training, service, and support

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Solid understanding of and experience in healthcare service delivery from administrative, clinical and/or statutory perspectives is highly desired.
  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in HIT, healthcare, project management and/or Quality Improvement (or a combination of the above)

Web Developer

The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining Forward Health Group’s web-based application systems. This includes designing or enhancing our software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. The Web Developer may analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and a back-end language (PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js, etc.)
  • Experience with developing database-driven web applications

SQL Developer

The SQL Developer supports the data team’s functions on data acquisition, curation, ETL process, measure development and presentation. As a part of the team, the developer/analyst will have the opportunity to work with multiple and diverse health data sources including EHR/EMR, administrative claims, pharmacy and lab data. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding the context and nature of data and apply SQL programming skills. S/he will have strong RDBMS knowledge and proven experience in building and maintaining database structures, completing ETL processes, mapping data elements to create quality measures and generating reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with experience in quantitative field
  • Must be proficient in SQL and preferably one of the following programming languages: R, Python, Perl
  • Demonstrated fluency with SQL
  • Experience with any kind of health data (EHR, Claims, Registry) is desired

  • Proficient in organizational and time management skills.
