Michael Barbouche [Founder and CEO] is a nationally recognized leader in health care data, quality measurement and reporting. With a formal background in mathematics, he brings a new approach to health care information.
Michael played a central role in the evolution of the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ), an initial HHS Charter Value Exchange. A mathematician trained in health services research, he has over eighteen years experience in the health care industry, with an acute focus on health care data. Applying the principles of set theory, he has invented new data models for the health care industry that maximize the harvest and yield of data, regardless of health care technology infrastructure. A frequent advisor and presenter on health care data, Michael serves on the Board of the National Institute for Quality Improvement Education (NIQIE).

James brings an engineering and manufacturing background to FHG to support the sustained flow of health care data for our customers. He has extensive background in scaling operations to support sustained business development. He has developed innovative technical solutions across products and markets to meet the changing demands of customers and regulators.
[+]Joel Walker is an accomplished health care data expert with significant expertise in harnessing complex data sources.
Joel was responsible for building the data and reporting infrastructure for several of the nation's most prominent health care quality reporting organizations, including the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) and Minnesota Community Measurement (MNCM). He led WCHQ’s PQRI submission effort in 2008, aggregating, calculating and submitting quality data on nearly 2,000 physicians, and over 2500 physicians in 2009. Working with MNCM, he established the reporting architecture to support physician participation in the Bridges to Excellence Programs. He has more than a decade of experience in building complex, database-driven web applications.

[+]Emily Norton is a web developer, focused on user-centered application design in the health care setting.
Emily has several areas of expertise including: web design, publishing and content management, web strategy and alignment, and front-end development for XHTML, HTML CSS and web standards. She has a breadth of health care data experience working with several leading-edge groups including Quality Quest for Health in Illinois and HealthInsight in Utah.
[+]Walter Wolyniec is a data-driven advocate for the transformation of health care and health care education, specifically related to clinical performance.
Walter has an accomplished career in basic research for health sciences and leadership in national continuing medical education organizations. His current leadership roles include: Member, National Task Force for Continuing Medical Education; Chair, Public Affairs Committee for the National Task Force for Continuing Medical Education; Member, Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (ACME); and Member, Advocacy Committee for the ACME. He has been a frequent advisor to major medical specialty societies and academic institutions.
[+]John Studebaker, MD, MS, is a practicing pediatrician with post-graduate training in medical informatics.
John has experience in analyzing and evaluating health information systems and implementing health information systems in clinical settings. He has domain expertise in clinical information systems and strategy and has created novel approaches for integrating medical informatics and health information technology with clinical training. While serving as the medical director for Oklahoma’s largest Medicaid clinic for five years, he was responsible for implementing an electronic medical record for the clinical enterprise.
[+]Sean Thomas, MD, is an internist with post-graduate training in medical informatics.
Sean has a diverse background that includes medical informatics strategy, implementation and optimization of health information technology. Prior to joining FHG, he was a physician on the Clinical Informatics Team at Epic, a leading developer of Electronic Health Record software. He was the lead physician during the implementation of the EpicCare EHR product at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i where he was also a practicing Hospitalist, Assistant Professor and Chief of the Division of Medical Informatics for the Department of Medicine.
