Data Integration Analyst

The Data Integration Analyst is a critical role at Forward Health Group that requires a broad spectrum of talents and responsibilities that are both internally and in some instances, client facing. The Data Integration Analyst is a member of the IT team and is responsible to obtain, analyze, transform and load data from client file extracts into the FHG client databases. Job duties include improving and normalizing data through scrubbing data, writing testing scripts, performing quality control on data and data storage, and enabling data access. This role also performs some database administration functions including ensuring the integrity and completeness of our core RDS MySQL databases in both production and back-up states to meet our business and customer commitments. This role is also responsible for a variety of system administration roles and serves as the subject matter expert with clients around data integration and access as necessary within the FHG database environment and is passionate about data integrity, is tenacious in resolving problems and possesses excellent attention to detail. This role assesses and escalates issues or risks to leadership as appropriate and serves as the point person for any database operations issues or data access questions on behalf of FHG.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, information systems, database administration or other related technical area or equivalent experience with the expectation that a Bachelors degree will be obtained within a reasonable timeframe following hire.
  • 3 to 5 years prior experience working in IT in database management or systems administration with a heavy emphasis on data management tools and techniques including change management, systems administration, data management and access control related activities.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write efficient queries and read stored procedures
  • Solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships and data modeling with the ability to learn and understand various data environments
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is beneficial (ETL, staging, data marts, etc.)
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of relevant laws including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and IT security regulations (SOC 2 Type II) preferred.
  • SSIS or another ETL software experience preferred

Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of small to medium projects or initiatives with varying complexity and multiple dependencies as part of the Client Delivery team. This individual is responsible for the project planning, project execution, and maintaining core project tools including project charters, week by week timeline plans, project plans, risk, action item, issue, & decision (RAID) logs, and weekly progress reports. The project manager will assist the organization by orchestrating cross functional task planning and creating project resource plans as well as aligning the projects to the overall organizational portfolio.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree in business administration, IT, or related field or equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a project management role or demonstrated experience in working in highly technical environments with a focus on team leadership, vendor management, complex project leadership, and effective communication across all levels of an organization. Understanding of software development life cycle preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health system and health plan operations and workflows preferred.

Client Delivery Manager

The Client Delivery Manager is responsible for the implementation of large projects and programs or initiatives with high complexity and multiple dependencies for multiple integrated delivery systems and/or health plans as part of the Client Delivery team. This individual serves as a point of escalation and is responsible for the installation overall success, installation client relationship, program planning, project execution, and review and maintenance of core project tools including project charters, week by week timeline plans, project plans, risk, action item, issues, and decisions logs, and weekly progress reports. The Client Delivery Manager will work closely with the Project Managers and other teams to assist the organization by orchestrating cross functional task planning and creating project resource plans as well as providing overall project guidance and aligning the projects to the overall organizational portfolio. The Client Delivery Manager plays a critical role in ensuring installation success to meet the client’s current strategic priorities, as well as to identify and share opportunities to further assist the client’s strategic success.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field or equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a project management role or demonstrated experience in working in highly technical environments with a focus on team leadership, vendor management, complex project leadership, and effective communication across all levels of an organization. Understanding of software development life cycle preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health system and health plan operations and workflows gained from work experience in or with payers, providers, or health IT vendors required.
  • Working knowledge of clinical terms and outcomes and strong understanding of claims data preferred.

Data Analyst

The Data Analyst develops, validates, and supports the accurate and timely delivery of data to our clients. S/he will achieve those goals by using proficiencies in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from client source files to database tables and developing algorithms and logic for measures of quality, safety, efficiency, and financial performance. The Data Analyst will perform unit tests to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables and will resolve identified and reported issues.

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelors Degree in technical or other related field of study (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1+ years of related data management, analysis and/or programming experience
  • Previous experience in manipulating and analyzing data sets with analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, MySQL, SAS)
  • Experience in healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
