Forward Health Group Rated Top in Clinician Engagement in KLAS Report

SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 9, 2018 –Forward Health Group earned the highest score in Clinician Engagement among population health vendors in the highly regarded KLAS Research’s 2017 Population Health Management report, and exceeded market average in all six domains (labeled as “verticals”) that are monitored by KLAS.

KLAS Research™ highlighted Forward Health Group on its opening pages calling Forward Health Group a “Win” for Small ACOs and Hospitals. It also emphasized that Forward Health Group outperformed electronic medical vendors in Clinical Engagement.

The high ratings from customers on Clinician Engagement are a rich validation of Forward Health Group’s focus on clinician trust and participation. Forward Health Group, which has rated highly in previous studies is now the “runaway leader for clinicians, which is the issue of the day in value-based care,” said Michael Barbouche, Founder and CEO.

In Fall 2016, KLAS convened a diverse group of stakeholders for a “Keystone Summit” to establish a framework for measuring performance in the Population Health Management market. Clinician Engagement was identified as one of the key pillars to drive success.   At a follow up event in Fall 2017, the “Cornerstone Summit” reinforced the critical importance of Clinician Engagement.

Forward Health Group rated highly in all six Verticals: Data Aggregation, Data Analysis, Care Management, Administration/Financial Reporting, Patient Engagement, and Clinician Engagement.

KLAS singled out Forward Health Group by explaining that its customers “feel their vendor is a true partner willing to guide them and help them understand the data.”

“Customers appreciate the number of data sources (Forward Health Group) can bring in, the fact that the data is merged cleanly, and how easy the aggregation and analysis is to do,” the KLAS report added.

Customers, surveyed anonymously by KLAS, agreed that the company’s platforms, PopulationManager® for clinicians and PopulationCompass® for insurers and others, drive improvement in an organization’s performance in value-based care:

“The graphics in PopulationManager® are so intuitive and easy to understand… If a physician is at 40% (of tracking patient care) and many other physicians are at 90%, the first physician can see that he or she is not doing his or her job,” one customer said.
